18th International Conference on Heavy Metals in the Environment (ICHMET 2016

Patricia Ventura Garcia participated in the 18th International Conference on Heavy Metals in the Environment (ICHMET 2016 - http://www.ichmet2016.ugent.be/), that took place in Ghent, Belgium, from 12th to 15th September. The GBA-cE3c researcher presented an oral communication, entitled "Chronic exposure to indoor radon in a hydrothermal area and DNA damage in oral epithelial cells" and co-authored another entitled "To what extent agrochemicals exposures affects male gonads?". 

The meeting brought together over 300 participants all over the world (about 25 countries). This meeting constituted a forum where researchers in the field of heavy metals in the environment presented their latest research, interacting across various disciplines, including metal geochemistry and biogeochemistry, environmental technology and Health Impacts and Risk Assessment.
