Seminar by Joana Portugal Pereira (Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, Imperial College London & IPCC)

Joana Portugal Pereira is an Assistant Professor in the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ/COPPE) at the department of Energy Planning. She is a Visiting Fellow at the Centre for Environmental Policy of Imperial College London and a Lead Author of the IPCC Sixth Assessment Report (AR6). Her research interests focus on energy system innovations towards mitigation of global and local environmental impacts. She will present her contribution to the recent IPCC special reports on Climate Change and Land and GlobalWarning of 1.5ºC.
